Roulette’s new home in Brooklyn was envisioned with maximum flexibility, and therefore, our spaces easily transform from an experimental listening theater into an ideal venue for entertainment and enjoyment. The interiors of our renovated Art Deco theater provide a unique and elegant setting for weddings, conferences, corporate affairs, still photography and film shoots, as well as a host of other private events.

Situated on the ground floor of a historic building in the heart of Downtown Brooklyn, Roulette is fully equipped with a state-of-the-art sound, video and lighting systems, complete with a moveable stage for events “in-the-round”. Our lobby is a warm, wonderful welcoming area for receptions, while the mezzanine level provides an aerial viewpoint for photography, a respite for event guests and additional seating for performances.

Roulette also offers affordable rehearsal and performing space, and high quality recording facilities for individual artists and small performance groups working in experimental music, new music, and avant-jazz. We offer subsidized rental rates to artists through the generous funding of NYC Department of Cultural Affairs and the New York State Council on the Arts.

Roulette occupies 7,000 sq ft. with a total capacity of Roulette is 640 persons. The main ballroom can accommodate up to 250 seated guests; the mezzanine provides seating for 115 persons.
