In a Roulette commissioned piece, artist Teerapat Parnmongkol presents Evidence to Say, a work in two parts. Joined by intermedia groups RE and then Dry Flower, Evidence to Say establishes Parnmongkol’s new multimedia collaborative work with the visual art of Akaliko—whose practice explores the human mind and experience in relation to the ongoing development of technology and environment through video art and experimental animation.

RE channels sensory saturation through noise and harmonic resonance from the intoxication of wine. The Intermedia group is currently comprised of electroacoustic percussionist and sculpture artist Jake Adams, guitarist Maxim Elrod, and Parnmongkol’s voice and sound work, have collaborated on experimental multimedia performance projects, including Rendrgram, D.O.M.E., Zumest, New York Sound Painting Ensemble, Globular Cluster, Tiritee, and WX. Such collaborations have incorporated elements of structured improvisation, large-scale sculpture and projection art, experiential audience engagement, and relatable and nonrelatable narrative landscapes.
Dry Flower expands imagination through listening meditation, featuring Parnmongkol (oud, voice) and formed along with multi-instrumentalist Lucie Vítková (hichiriki and accordion), Brendan Reilly (upright bass, found objects).
Teerapat Parnmongkol is an indiscipline theorist and poet. He is ⅓ of RE and ⅓ of Dry flower. He also an alchemist at RE Recording Studio. Sometimes he releases music under “Lemur Onkyokei”, “LOA” and his name. Born in Sakon Nakorn, Thailand, Parnmongkol began living and studying music in Bangkok in 2006 and continued his studies at Brooklyn College in the USA with a focus in performance and interactive media arts from 2013–2015. Parnmongkol’s main interests are in sound, music, vibration, and performance in mystical traditions.
Jake Adams studied music and sculpture at Bennington College graduating in 2001. He works as an animal and plant sculptor for the dioramas at the American Museum of Natural History. His music projects often involve experimental processes, large scale sculpture installations, and audience participation.
Maxim Elrod is an improviser, singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. In addition to his work with RE, Maxim has performed with various artists including Ed Pastorini, Oren Bloedow, and Jennifer Charles. He also helms RE Recording, a recording studio overlooking the Red Hook waterfront.
Pasakorn Nontananandh aka Akaliko is an experiential designer and live visual performer based in New York. He produces his unique style of artwork in the field of 2D/ 3D animation and interactive installations. He seeks new hybrid possibilities by adapting divergent processes, including motion design and creative programming along with strategies that come from his broad experience of time-based media professional skill and knowledge. He has a background in Computer Arts, having earned an MFA at School of Visual Arts, New York, United States, where he continuously developed his personal and conceptual aesthetic involving the human mind and experience in relation to the ongoing development of technology and environment via video art and experimental animation.
Teerapat Parnmongkol: Evidence to Say is a Roulette commission and is possible, in part, by the Jerome Foundation.
