Guitarist/composer Lucas performs guitar fantasias that encompass rock, blues, classical, folk, jazz and electronic music with his patented twist. The former Captain Beefheart soloist and Jeff Buckley collaborator will present material from his latest album for Tzadik, Street of Lost Brothers, with guest vocalist Gisburg, drawing from a repertoire spanning from Wagner to Chinese pop music of the 1930’s. Plus excerpts from his score for Maysles Films’ new documentary, “LaLee’s Kin: The Legacy of Cotton”.
