Thursday, October 25, 20128:00 pm

Guy Klucevsek will perform solos from the vast catalogue of over 100 pieces he has composed for accordion since 1982, including tributes to composers György Ligeti, Erik Satie, and Astor Piazzolla, and to fellow accordionists Lars Hollmer (Sweden), Kepa Junkera (Basque) and Ivan Milev (Bulgaria).  After intermission, Guy will be joined  by “New York’s reigning classical/jazz violinist” (The New Yorker), Todd Reynolds, to preview Guy’s score for Lionel Popkin’s new dance/theatre piece, “Ruth Doesn’t Live Here Anymore,” inspired by the work of modern dance pioneer, Ruth St. Denis.
