House of Mirrors is bassist Mark Dresser and trumpeter Ed Harkins’ experiment in timbre, pitch, theatre, new modes of intuition, complex rhythmic notation, measured and unmeasured rhythms, reckoning operations and rhythmic feelings, strategic comparison and subtle distinctions and change that is constant, subtle, difficult, fast and novel.
