Jazzfest Berlin 2020

Friday and Saturday • November 6 and 7 10AM

Jazzfest Berlin – New York
Jetzt erst recht: Now is the time!

Fostering intercontinental cooperation in spite of the pandemic, Jazzfest Berlin joins forces with Roulette to present a two-day concert marathon between the cutting edge scenes of Berlin and New York, with live acts on both sides of the Atlantic. A diverse selection of twelve groups from the two cities will be presented live in situ and by live stream from and to—if possible—local audiences at silent green in Berlin-Wedding. In this unique scenario, six brilliant, stylistically diverse New York-Berlin tandems will enter into a musical dialogue. Jumping from one venue to the other, the individual sets will not only be cross-streamed via a dedicated line between the two metropolia but also made available online in a live video stream.
