Acclaimed for their joyful and dynamic performances, Le Vent du Nord revisits highlights of their repertoire with brand new arrangements in celebration of their 25th anniversary.

The group, composed of Nicolas Boulerice, André Brunet, Réjean Brunet, Olivier Demers, and André Gagné performs a vast repertoire of traditional Celtic folk music as well as original compositions on vocals, fiddle, accordion, hurdy-gurdy, bouzouki, guitar, and keyboards. It’s highly rhythmic and soulful music rooted in the Celtic diaspora is enhanced with a broad range of global influences.

Le Vent du Nord are driving force of the Quebec progressive folk movement as well as a leading group in the revival of traditional music in Quebec. Since their founding in 2002, they have performed more than 2,400 concerts on four continents, released 13 albums and received numerous prestigious awards, including a Grand Prix du Disque Charles Cros (France), and two Juno (Canadian Grammy) awards.
