Moira (Fan) Zhang presents new material as part of her Roulette Commission.

Moira (Fan) Zhang is an interdisciplinary artist based in New York, working across installation, performance, and real-time media. Using 3D Gaussian splatting, sensors, live electronics, and volumetric capture, she builds interactive environments where landscape, perception, and the moving body meet—rooms where the body becomes the instrument. Her work returns again and again to our mediated relationship with land and nature, and to the distance between a place and the body that reaches for it. She has performed the live electronics of David Behrman’s On the Other Ocean at ISSUE Project Room, exhibited at PAKD Gallery, Berlin, and received awards at the 2026 MUSE Creative Awards. She has trained at NYU, the Royal College of Art, and UAL.
