Dion Workman

Wednesday, March 27, 20028:30 pm

Low tech electronica that is intense, austere and abstract using materials that are such sound phenomena as sound generators. The work is paced to allow the listener to drift while witnessing arrangements of layers shifting and straining to detect patterns. The experience is the sonic equivalent of looking into bright light and then into shadow thus targeting one’s capacity to absorb extremes. Workman is founding member of the groups Thela and Parmentier that have recorded and toured extensively in the U.S and Europe.

Dion Workman is from New Zealand, lives in New York.
