Saxophonist and composer Emilio Modeste presents new work as part of his Roulette residency, leading a quartet of friends and first-time collaborators.

Embracing deep intention and the unknown, the evening will feature unique electronic and acoustic instrumentation, ranging from intimate moments of voice and guitar to an electro-acoustic orchestra shaped by spontaneous creation.

One of Modeste’s first ventures as a leader, the project synthesizes lessons from some of music’s bravest travelers and coincides with the release of his group INSTANT ALTER’s upcoming single (2/13).

A student of the legendary drummer and producer Lenny White, Modeste also explores endless musical styles in his artistry.
