Percussionist Lovens hails from Aachen, Germany where he has been involved with a “who’s who” of free improvisors including Cecil Taylor and Derek Bailey. Tonight he joins guitarist Eugene Chadbourne in his fingerpicking, C&W, and bluegrass stylings for a North American debut performance. They are very much looking forward to playing together!
