ASM Presents Infrequent Seams Festival with Ghost Ensemble, Either/Or, 4tet2duos, Drew Wesely, and Eli Wallace

Anti-Social Music and Infrequent Seams present an evening-long celebration of the disparate creative energies of many frequent partners in creative music. The Either/Or Ensemble performs works by Talib Rasul Hakim, Jō Kondō, James Díaz, and Kathernine Young. Drew Wesely presents a solo prepared guitar performance in celebration of the release of their album and media book Blank Body. 4tet2duos (Katie Porter, Lucie Vítková, James Ilgenfritz, Teerapat Parnmongkol) presents an extended structured work for improvisers. Eli Wallace celebrates the release of his new album of solo prepared piano music. Ghost Ensemble presents the premiere of Ben Richter’s Rewild.

This program is supported, in part, by ASM and public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, in partnership with the City Council, and in part with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts, a state agency.
