An exciting evening of music for strings, with the Montreal–based Bozzini Quartet and New York’s premiere violin duo, String Noise. Violinists Pauline Kim Harris and Conrad Harris present new works for their duo String Noise, by Bernhard Lang (Austria), Petr Bakla (Czech Republic), Spencer Topel (USA), Dan Siegler (USA). Montreal’s Bozzini Quartet perform works by Canadian composers Nicole Lizée and Martin Arnold, as well as James Tenney’s Koan For String Quartet.
The Interpretations Concert Series is now in its 26th Season. For over a quarter century, Interpretations has sought to develop a community of experimental composers, their virtuoso interpreters, improvisers, and an adventurous and supportive audience.
