The world premiere of composer Zorn’s legendary and enduring “game” piece, Cobra, in which 12 or more musicians exchange improvised musical phrases, riffs , or passages in large or small groupings following instructions and signals from cue cards, hand gestures, interruptions, and listening. The event was unrecorded except for printed documents and photos.
