$25 advance$30 doors$20 Student/Senior (door only w/ ID, Senior 65+)doors 7:00pm

While most of her live performances over the past several years have involved prepared piano, electronics, and multimedia/video works to create an immersive psychedelic spectacle, the New York-based classically trained composer and musician Kelly Moran, a former Roulette Resident Artist, will perform an intimate and stripped-down set of music for solo acoustic piano, featuring arrangements of older pieces and premieres of new works written during the pandemic. The program will also preview unreleased material that will be featured on her upcoming album in 2024.

“The avant-garde touches she employs may be inspired by John Cage, but her melodies are memorable, and original.” –The New York Times

“The liquidity of her playing finally overwhelms the containers she’s created for it, spilling over and splashing out.” –Pitchfork

“… the rare feat of making the work of a single individual sound like the artistic output of a veritable creative army.” –Revolver
