An evening of video and music, featuring live video art by Kit Fitzgerald and music performed by Peter Gordon & Love of Life Orchestra, provides an opportunity to immerse oneself in a visual and musical setting that straddles the familiar to the mysterious. The projected video mixes camera imagery and digital painting, ranging from the figurative to abstraction, while the music’s shifting melodies and contrapuntal harmonies float on top of solid danceable grooves.
Kit Fitzgerald and Peter Gordon have been pioneering live video-music performance for decades. They performed most recently at Roulette in 2018 and 2019 and have presented their work at BAM Next Wave, LaMama, and The Kitchen in New York. They have also toured internationally, with residencies and commissions in South Korea and Japan, and have collaborated in theater with The Talking Band.
