Distress and delight. The partnership of Canadian musicians Lori Freedman, clarinets and Marilyn Lerner, piano exposes a process wrought by instinct for spontaneous design. Marilyn Lerner has performed with Sonny Greenwich, Jane Bunnett, Tito Puente and Steve Lacy and is currently collaborating on a series of pieces for two pianos. Lori Freedman is one of Canada’s most provocative and creative performer. Over thirty composers have written solo bass clarinet music for her, and she appears on 23 CDs.
