The Climax Band is Larry Rivers, Howard Brofsky, Peter Calandra, Stomu and Earl Williams. Originally known as the East 13th Street Band, such notable musicians as Joni Mitchell, Phoebe Legere, Don Cherry, Wynton Marsalis and Jerry Mulligan have performed with them over the years.
