Triple Canopy’s annual symposium is a manifestation of the magazine’s concerns and collaborations, in person and in real time. The two-day gathering brings together artists, writers, performers, and researchers to address the role of culture in responding (or contributing) to a range of critical issues.

Tapes, publications, and wares will be available from PTP. Worker Coffee will be on site selling coffee and tea.

A live, low-frequency improvisation and conversation about bass (as a technology and metaphor) in and beyond Black music. Presented with Roulette.

9:30pm // Symposium Afterparty at El Zason
A celebration of the 2025 Symposium at El Zason, 491 Atlantic Ave, with music presented by PTP, drink specials, and discounted tacos.

Triple Canopy is a nonprofit/magazine that works with artists and writers to address the critical issues that define contemporary life. Triple Canopy is committed to cultivating unconventional, unassimilated forms of thought and expression, and to meaningfully supporting the people who produce them. The magazine collaborates with contributors on artworks, essays, fictions, conversations, performances, and books (among other media) from conception to realization, navigating the digital and physical realms where ideas and audiences take shape.
