Roulette opens its doors to the public for a FREE (w/ RSVP) event and performance on Sunday, October 20th featuring:
> Legendary multi-instrumentalist and visionary ambient artist Laraaji at 7:30 pm
> Live DJs Heidi Sabertooth (Synth Library NYC) and Jordan Michael (Temporary State) from 4:30-7pm
> Drinks & hors d’oeuvres
> Guided Tours of our Theater (until 7pm) – available to rent year-around for weddings, galas, conferences, performances, and more (learn more about Rent Roulette here)
> Pop-ups from local catering, florals, and party vendors — including Threes Brewing, Monterone Catering & Events, Midtown Florist, Just a Nibble NYC, Purslane, and Broadway Party Rentals
> Display of some of our extensive Lighting and Tech capabilities
> Interactive activities and demonstrations from Synth Library NYC and more
A revitalized 1928 neoclassical theater in the heart of downtown Brooklyn, Roulette features a dramatic proscenium, vintage details, a charming balcony, unsurpassed acoustics and sightlines, and superb production equipment. The 6,000 square foot theater is a stunning, adaptable, and well-equipped setting for concerts, performances, galas & fundraisers, weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, conferences, film screenings & shoots, fashion shows, and so much more.
Roulette Open House is a recurring event to introduce our venue and programs to the community. Roulette is available for rent year round. Come by for a chance to experience what an event feels like in our space, and get inspired to plan yours. Rentals at Roulette subsidize our ongoing programs presenting the best in experimental music, movement, and media in New York since 1978.
