11th Season Finale
The MCO commemorates the 100th anniversary of World War I with the American premiere of All Quiet on the Western Front, an opera by Nancy Van de Vate.  Maestro Philip Nuzzo leads the Metro Chamber Orchestra and a cast of emerging professionals in Van de Vate’s operatic rendition of Remarque’s novel All Quiet on the Western Front.  From the youthful trumpet call to battle to the haunting images of death and lost innocence, Dr. Van de Vate’s powerful treatment of this well known story is brought to life on the operatic stage.  Don’t miss what should be a hallmark performance.
