INTERPRETATIONS: David Behrman: “Unexpected Places” // Gisburg Sings With Michel Foucault & Friedrich Nietzsche

Two multifaceted long-form works by innovative New York-based   composers.

Composer David Behrman presents Unexpected Places: Small Pieces for Conrad and Pauline, A series short works for the violin duo STRING NOISE (Pauline Kim Harris and Conrad Harris).  These violin duos will also involve both players incorporating some small percussion objects, with guests Gisburg (vocals) and Behrman on electronics.

Vocalist Gisburg presents a philosophical musical theater for vocals and live band based on Michel Foucault’s “History Of Madness” as well as works by Freidrich Nietsche. With Loui Terrier (drums), Zach Lane (bass), Raphael Painson (French Horn), Drew Pisarra (Actor/ Friedrich Nietzsche), and Gisburg (voice and piano).
