Joëlle Léandre “Hommage a John”

French double bass player, improviser and composer, Joëlle Léandre is one of the dominant figures of the new European music, with work composed especially for her by such composers as Scelsi, Fénelon, Hersant, Lacy, Campana, Jolas, Clementi and many others.. Tonight Léandre presents an evening dedicated to John Cage, including work written specifically for her by Cage and will be joined by dancer Dominique Boivin and percussionist Kevin Norton.
