Mutual Mentorship for Musicians (M³), a visionary and non-hierarchical mentorship initiative created by musicians Jen Shyu and Sara Serpa, presents its 3rd annual in-person festival featuring 10 bandleaders from their 3rd & 5th Cohorts in addition to headliners Linda May Han Oh with Fabian Almazan (duo), Craig Taborn (solo), and Zeena Parkins (solo). The two-day M³ Festival will run Friday and Saturday, October 25-26th, 2024, and celebrates some of the most groundbreaking composer-performers in the jazz, creative, electronic, singer-songwriter, experimental, and traditional music scenes and beyond.
The M³ Festival 2024 boasts an exceptional roster of artists, each contributing their unique talents and artistic vision. Among the illustrious musicians set to perform are Krissy Bergmark, Jessica Jones, Sattvitri, CC Sunchild, Rani Jambak, Naomi Nakanishi, Aline Frazão, Kavita Shah, Gwen Laster, and Dafna Naphtali. These gifted composer-performers have been an integral part of the M³, and their collective brilliance promises to create an unforgettable experience for audiences.
