Please fill out the Communications + Press Form to submit your performance description, lineup, artist bios, photos, and media links for your show at Roulette. We will be using this information to populate our website, write press releases, and create marketing materials.

For performances with live, ticketed audiences, ARTIST agrees that the Performance at ROULETTE shall be the performing Artist or Group’s sole and exclusive public performance of any kind within 6 weeks before or 4 weeks after the Performance Date within the 5 boroughs of NYC (Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island).

If you are interested in having Roulette handle printed programs for your performance, please submit program material via our form here no less than 4 days in advance of your performance. Late submissions may not be printed.

Roulette is located at  509 Atlantic Avenue
(Entrance on the Corner of Third Avenue; Accessible/Ramp Entrance on Atlantic Ave)

Roulette's venue consists of a public lobby, a 2nd floor Mezzanine w/ fixed seating and 1st floor concert hall w/ flexible seating. Private dressing rooms are located in Roulette's basement.

Roulette seating is General Admission with a maximum capacity of 400 seats
- 165 (153 fixed seats in the balcony + 12 optional seats)
- Maximum of 235 seats in the ballroom (flexible seating)

*Please note, only Roulette’s 1st floor is wheelchair accessible

**Please note that any stage modification, equipment additions, etc. can affect seating capacity. Therefore, Roulette must be notified of these seating arrangements prior to publicly announcing ticketing sales.

  • Roulette offers basic concert lighting (5 looks maximum, no lighting design, and no cues). For more complex lighting needs please contact tech@roulette.org at least 6 weeks in advance of your performance.
  • Roulette's lighting rep plot and magic sheet are available upon request.

Please complete Roulette's technical rider via this link at least 21 days prior to your performance or any rehearsals.

Rehearsals - If you would like to request additional rehearsal time, please do so 30 days in advance. Space is limited.

Audio/Visual Documentation

Roulette will use its robotic six-camera system to capture and livestream your performance for free via Vimeo (on our homepage and your dedicated event page on Roulette's website) and on YouTube. It will be archived on Roulette's website following your performance.

Rights Clearances - if you are planning to use any copyrighted material for your performance (i.e performing compositions from another composer, including copyrighted music, video, or non-original material within your performance) please be in touch ASAP by emailing amanda@roulette.org so Roulette can best advise on licensing and/or obtaining permission prior to any use.

A multi-track audio recording is also available to Roulette artists free of charge. You can request files via this link. Please allow 4-6 weeks post-show for processing. If questions, please feel free to reach out to tech@roulette.org.

A download of the video program file of your performance is also available free of charge to Roulette artists. Please use this link to request files.

  • Roulette Sells Merch on Artists’ behalf - Our bartender (arriving 1-hour prior to when doors open to the public) will have a Merchandise Agreement for you to fill out if you'd like us to sell merch on your behalf during the show. If you go this route, the deal is you keep the first $100 (cash sales only) and Roulette keeps 20% of sales past that.
  • Artist Sells Merch - If you'd prefer to sell merch yourself, or have a representative to sell merch for you, you may do so and keep 100% of the profits. We'll even provide a nice table & chairs in the lobby for merch setup.

ARTIST GUESTLIST

Your contract  will outline the number of allotted complimentary tickets you will be able to use for the performance. Please email boxoffice@roulette.org with names and email addresses 48 hours before the performances so Roulette can add them to our guestlist. 

PRESS COMPLIMENTARY TICKETS

The amount of complimentary press tickets may vary by event. Please direct all press inquiries and ticket requests to press@roulette.org. All members of the press must provide Roulette with their name, email address, and press affiliation.

INDUSTRY + PRODUCTION LIST

Artists may provide Roulette with a list of associated artists, designers, composers, lyricists, funders, presenters etc. who directly contributed to the work being presented at the event including individuals who will be present between 7 PM - 12 AM during the event so that they will be allowed re-entry while Box Office is open.
