“Building Dwelling Thinking” approaches the act of sound-making as a bringing-into-focus of that which already exists; performances arise out of the particulars of a given time and place through an active engagement with found objects within found environments: the materials within a space are used through a performative interaction — contact sound — which is abstracted through minimal electronics and physical manipulation, creating atmospheric and conceptual works which emphasize sound both as physical material and sensorial event.
