A performing and recording duo pushing the limits of new guitar music, San Francisco’s Ernesto Diaz-Infante uses alligator clips, extreme alternate tunings, screwdrivers, bells, and other objects on acoustic guitar while Brooklyn’s Chris Gorsyth produces his extraordinary sound with more conventional equipment: electronic guitar, amplifier, volume pedal,and distortion box. Their music has been described as being like two Lonnie Johnson record played simultaneously at different speeds or Harry Partch broadcast colored by ad reception.
