Dance to Arturo O’Farrill and the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra — and support music education for New York City school children!

Heat up the night at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music’s Red Hot Winter Gala —and support music education for nearly 5,000 underserved children and adults. Featuring GRAMMY-winner Arturo O’Farrill and the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra, the Gala promises to be a fun-filled evening of dancing, feasting, and music making. Event honorees are Dan Zanes, GRAMMY Award-winning family music artist, and Jerri Sines Mayer and Thomas Moers Mayer, long-time generous supporters of the Conservatory.

The Conservatory offers private and group instruction in every major instrument as well as an early childhood music program for parents and children including Dan Zanes House Party and a Suzuki program. The Music Partners and Music Therapy divisions bring music education programs and music therapy to schools, youth, senior and adult-support service centers, foster care agencies, and other community-based organizations. Throughout the year, the Conservatory presents concerts and community-wide events, including performances by its Community Orchestra and Chorale.
