SUN HAN GUILD is a sound and performance collective led by Roulette resident artist eddy kwon. Inspired by the Spirit Worshipers’ Guild of early 20th century Korea, SUN HAN GUILD uses ecstatic ritual performance as an opening for insight and transformation. SUN HAN GUILD is composer-improvisers eddy kwon, Laura Cocks, Jessie Cox, DoYeon Kim, and Lester St. Louis. As part of kwon’s Roulette residency, SUN HAN GUILD will perform a piece entitled EARTH IRIDESCENCE / SORROW CHURN.
