“Black Hole,” fictitious folkloric music/ noise/ dance grooves with Elke Utermoehlen (voice, found objects, electronics) and Martin Slawig (percussion, samples). Songs of undiscovered cultures in languages that cannot be translated. Elke uses her voice with low tech electronics and natural materials like stones, wood and iron. Martin performs on traditional West African bass drums, Asian gongs and found objects with a computer-controlled live sampling system. Eruptive emotionality and moments of calmness and atmosphere.
