Two composer/multi-instrumentalists share an evening to show new solo and chamber instrumental pieces, as well as songs from the odd corners of the psyche. Specializing in clarinets (Custer) and piano/glass harmonica (Leishman),  they are joined by Ben Perowsky (percussion), Doug Wieselman (guitar and reeds) and Jane Scarpantoni (cello).

Beth Custer is a San Francisco based composer, performer and band leader.  A clarinetist, singer, and pianist, Custer composes for film, TV, dance and theatre productions and the concert stage. Her bands include 80 Mile Beach and Dona Luz 30 Besos. She has worked with artists from Trimpin to Brenda Hutchinson.

Gina Leishman is a composer, arranger, multi-instrumentalist and performer. She composes for theater, opera, dance, film, television and concert stage, and has garnered numerous awards. Her ensembles include the long-standing septet Kamikaze Ground Crew and Mr. Wau-Wa band, a quintet dedicated to the songs of Bertolt Brecht.
