Bhima Swarga is a piece derived from traditional paintings on the ceiling of the Kertha Gosapavilion in Bali, illustrating a story from the Mahabharata of a rescue and journey from hell to heaven. The rich iconographic characters are processed and controlled by the sound signal and other messages through MAX/MSP/Jitter software. The Software allows Mori celebrated for her mesmerizing, seductive live and recorded music-to incorporate images into her performance. Plus, Insect Scenes where musical gestures control clips from film of insects in their environment.
