The electro-trombonist and electric cellist in a four-channel spatial jacuzzi of processed, dislocated acoustic sounds; bowed cymbals and blown strings; samples and feedback; and tangibly sculptural timbres. Deane and Schütz are distinguished sound designers as well as performers. Both are members of the international music group X-Communication recorded on FMP. Trombonist Dean works with Butch Morris, Wayne Horvitz, and playwright Sam Shepard. Swiss cellist Schütz released collaborative projects with saxophonist Hans Koch and guests on Intakt.
