This evening features the premier of Standstill, a new collaborative work by trombonist Jim Staley, guitarist David First and Ikue Mori (live visuals). Mori, who is well known for her electronic percussion, has in recent years added image processing to her work, using MAX-JITTER to process image and sound simultaneously. Tonight, she will work exclusively in the visual realm while Staley and First perform in the acoustic and electroacoustic domain.
