King Chubby is an Ambient band. The mix of personalities and means – electronics, percussion and homemade instruments and flutes large and small – makes this completely improvised music atmospheric, rhythmic, sensuous, funny, high tech, low tech, no tech.

Featuring Robert Dick, bass flutes in F & C, openhole alto, flute, flute with “glissando headjoint”, piccolo; Ed Bialek, samplers and keyboards; Will Ryan, percussion, birimbau and hand made instruments; and Tom Hamilton, synthesizer and electronic processing.
