Downtown diva Norderval and cluster maven Hays join forces in Reconstruction New York, a program of video, electronic sax and synth, and live processing. Footage of Manhattan construction/ building sites in Hays’ video art merge with Norderval’s laptop processing machine sounds. Also on the program are Traveling to the Flea, the fifth Hay’s series of improv journeys with Emulator and sax plus a new solo work by Norderval using wireless triggers to manipulate of her voice.
