Marco Trevisani performs his Concerto per piano solo e altri strumenti (Concert for piano solo and other instruments) for prepared piano, computer and tape. The piece experiments with traditional rhythms of Southern Italy alongside Afro Cuban rhythms. Elaborations and variations extend and explore the models. This composition was inspired by the work of Cuban poet, Nicolas Guillen.
