The cellist/vocalist performs his work with Carter Burwell on accordion, Wayne Hankin on medieval bagpipes, recorders, and string drum, and Hearn Gadbois on dumbeks, frame drums, and percussion. The music draws on classical, traditional, and folk sources and extended techniques. Een has worked with Meredith Monk, Ping Chong, in his group Psychic Sports, and with cellist Dale Newton on their disc Blue Earth.
