Tom Bruno (1932-2012) was a jazz musician and co-founder of the New York City Artists’ Collective. As a drummer, Bruno made a significant contribution to the world of avant-garde jazz, forging a unique style while working with a multitude of musicians including Ellen Christi, Juan Quiñones, Sonny Simmons, William Parker, Jemeel Moondoc, Roy Campbell Jr., William Connell, and with the band TEST, featuring Daniel Carter, Sabir Mateen and Mathew Heyner.
