“moving hearts — and, more importantly, feet — throughout the night.” — NPR Music

Capturing the spirit of the outdoor parties that take place in Colombia, known as cumbiambas, this ensemble puts a contemporary, cosmopolitan spin on several distinct South American traditions. Their dense percussive grooves, punctuated with brass accents, indigenous flute overtones, festive horn lines and gritty guitar riffs, invite listeners to join the fiesta.
