The composer’s newest work, a sonification of calligraphic drawings from ancient Chinese Poems using a Wacom stylus and tablet, plus the latest in his Wounded Man Yo-Shu series where mutilated compact discs release a whirlwind of adulterated alien sound textures. Also, a collaborative work with the Austrian psychoacoustic master and Mego recording artist, Florian Hecker. Tone was awarded the Golden Nica in the Digital Musics category of the 2002 Prix Ars Electonica. He is one of our treasures.
