They call their duo Twisted Tutu, and tonight celebrate the release of their CD, Play Nice (on OO Discs). The Concept Album has returned! Vocalist/keyboardist Eve Beglarian and pianist Kathleen Supove perform Boy Toy Toy Boy, Touchtone Tony, The Buncacan Song, Tahoma, I Let a Song Go Out of My Heart, One Tough Lama, Ngat and Treva, My Feelings Now, Tea Song, Play Nice, I Touched Yr. Cheek and Written on the Body. Eight pieces are by Beglarian (with Duke Ellington’s help in one case) and other by Kitty Brazelton, Art Jarvinen, Guy Klucevsek, Robin Lorentz and Randall Woolf.
