YoungVoices/BigSounds is a music education organization dedicated to providing dynamic musical instruction and performance opportunities to young people in New York City and beyond. We partner with schools, organizations, and companies to develop instrumental and beatmaking programs, vocal and percussion ensembles, and academic integration curricula. This academic year we’re working with over 500 young people, ranging in age from 4-21, at 9 sites in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and the Bronx. We believe in collaboration, creativity, and the power of music to help young people discover and express their voice.
