Double-Edge Dance comes UNHINGED. Double-Edge Dance will perform an evening of choreographed solos including: Retracing, cloud elegy, and Unhinged, a series of improvisations, and music compositions: Still Adrift, Bypassing the Ogre, and Broken Remains. Retracing is a collaboration with textile artist Rebecca Cross. Dancers include co-founder Kora Radellla and Sarah Lass. Musicians include co-founder Ross Feller (saxophones) Johnny Butler (woodwinds), Aryeh Kobrinsky (double bass), Dorothy Martirano (violin), Jason Nazary (drums), Stephanie Richards (trumpet), Matthew Silberman (woodwinds), and Adam Tendler (piano).

Double-Edge Dance is a contemporary dance and music company co-founded by choreographer/dancer Kora Radella and composer/saxophonist Ross Feller. They have performed their work throughout the U.S.A. and in Belgium, England, the Netherlands, Scotland, Spain and Switzerland. Double-Edge Dance integrates idiosyncratic motion with musical phrasing, matches disorientation with point-on-precision, and pushes performance depth. Radella’s movement research spirals of the edge of being out-of-control, emphasizing physical necessity and a psychologically precarious balance. Feller’s musical vocabulary features raw, ecstatic layers of material that seethe with refined, virtuosic gestures. Double-Edge Dance maintains a sense of live spontaneity through composition and improvisation.
