Generate 2016_WEB

Experimental artists are often limited in scope and scale due to lack of funds. How can they take their ideas to the next level without the time, money, and space to craft, experiment, and evolve? You can empower artists to GENERATE.

Launched in 2013 in honor of Frances Richard*, the GENERATE Fund supports ambitious, complex, and often large-scale experimental projects by artists at all stages of their careers through residencies, commissions, and additional production and presentation financial underwriting.  Composers writing operas, choreographers working with large ensembles, artists questioning the definitions of their disciplines and exploring new technologies — these works take time, money, and resources unavailable to most artists. GENERATE encourages and nourishes these artists and their projects, adding significant contributions to the contemporary repertoire.

See this season’s GENERATE performances.

By supporting GENERATE, you become an important part of this process. You help nourish experimental art and dynamic artistic processes of creation, presentation and achievement.
