Composer/performer Joseph Jarman will perform new compositions including Hollow Five – from the non-floating world of sitting in front of the wall, and Charm the Rainbow with Ease and others. Jarman – woodwinds, Myra Melford – piano, Mikele Navazio – guitar plus prerecorded tape.

Joseph Jarman (September 14, 1937 – January 9, 2019) was a master jazz musician, composer, and Shinshu Buddhist priest. He was one of the first members of the Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians and a member of the Art Ensemble of Chicago.
